Red Sky Ride
The Red Sky Ride has had its wrap up event for 2010. We had an event where all the sponsors, riders and volunteers were thanked for their supporrt and great efforts. A cheque for $300,000 was handed over to Dr David Joske from Solariscare.
We have also posted the Red Sky Ride onto our Youtube channel - pelusey.
Box Brownie to Digital: Rediscovering a childhood passion.
As well as Pelusey Photography Workshops, Michael has also been out and about talking about rediscovering his childhood passion. Mike took his first photo on his mother's box brownie. He then moved onto his own Brownie starflex, at the age of nine. He has come along way since and seen the amazing changes in photography.
Adrenalin Junkies
During April and May we pushed our physical and mental boundaries. Firstly we threw ourselves off a 55 metre cliff. We went abseiling and rockclimbing with Adventure Out at the Boya Quarry in the Perth Hills. Then we threw ourselves out of a perfectly good plane at 10,000 feet. Skydiving was with Skydive Express in York. We are endevouring to live our motto of "Feel the fear and do it anyway".
