Red Sky Ride
If it is March, then for us that means the Red Sky Ride. Route changes this year meant that the Red Sky Riders cycled 1000 kilometres in a week.
Every day we wrote up the blog with the help of Red Sky Ride co-founder Deb Macksy and uploaded some photos from the days extravaganza of images. This allowed friends, family and sponsors to follow the event day by day.
We also showed the photos to the riders each night. When you are concentrating on the wheel infront of you, it is amazing how much scenery you miss.
To see some of the photos check out the blogs on the Red Sky Ride website. Well done to the Red Sky Riders because they have so far raised $290,000 this year. Over the three years, they have raised 3/4 million dollars for Solariscare.
Perth to Pilbara Atlas and Guide: Available now
Our newest publication has hit the shelves. Last year we spent a few months exploring the region from Perth to the Pilbara. The result is the latest in the series of HEMA's Atlas and Guides for Western Australia. This means the entire state is now covered in a detailed Atlas and Guide format. The Perth to Pilbara book covers
- north all the way to Broome where the Kimberley book takes over,
- east to the Goldfields and
- south to Perth.
Along the way it features great places like Ningaloo Reef, Mount Augustus, Karijini National Park and Western Australia's best wildflower areas.
